One More Light is honestly a major disappointment, but I guess that's par for the course with Linkin Park albums. I'm head-over-heels for their older music, but I've noticed a gradual decline in my enjoyment of their music since Minutes to Midnight. I understand that bands change, but how does such a talented band with an amazing style turn to cookie-cutter, textbook definition pop? I see people using the lyrics to justify the style, but a) deep lyrics don't equal quality and b) lyrics aren't the only aspect of a song.

Anyway, that's just my opinion. You're free to enjoy the album if you can; I won't try to take that away from anyone. You know, I didnt like ATS, Living Things and the Hunting Party that much.

One More Light is the seventh studio album by Linkin Park. It marks a departure from the heavy sound of The Hunting Party, the first time the band has written songs starting from the vocals, and the first Linkin Park album to be titled after a song. One More Light Linkin Park. Having had more or less the same line up since day one and being thoroughly familiar with each other. One More Light Live. Linkin Park and more so Chester through his lyrics has shown me that the feelings I endure deep down are expressed through his lyrics, more so than other band has. The chorus is something I have struggled with on a daily basis, when trying to deal with the loss of my best man in December 2015.

They were ok but too mainstream oriented and nothing compared to their first 2-3 albums. Don't even let me start about the remix album Recharged.
