Meanwhile, Kyoya and his Facehunters are taken to an isolated rocky area by a mysterious figure, Doji. Doji challenges Kyoya to a battle; they agree that if Kyoya loses, he’ll have to work for Doji to defeat Gingka. The fight is on and Kyoya’s Rock Leone turns out to be no match for the Dark Wolf of Doji. Defeated, Kyoya must leave with Doji. Benkei is devastated by the loss of his mentor Kyoya who has joined Doji as a way of repaying a debt. So Benkei is surprised to receive a visit from Doji himself who presents him with a powerful Beyblade, Dark Bull. In return, Doji wants Benkei to use it to defeat Gingka. Benkei agrees and trains hard. Gingka and Benkei battle and Gingka’s Pegasus prevails in the end. For a moment it appears that the two foes will become friends, but it is not to be.
